Toddler Program in Oak Park
Montessori-Inspired Learning for Children Aged 2 to 3 Years
At Oak Park Early Learning, our Toddler Program is designed to support children aged 2 to 3 years as they become more independent, expressive and socially aware. This stage of early development is filled with discovery, and our educators are here to guide and nurture every moment with warmth and intention.
We create a calm, engaging environment that allows toddlers to explore their world, build new skills, and form meaningful connections with others. Our Montessori-inspired approach encourages children to learn at their own pace through choice, movement and hands-on play.
Building Confidence Through Purposeful Play
Toddlers are naturally curious and eager to learn. Our program includes thoughtfully planned, play-based experiences that promote:
Language development and early communication
Social skills, cooperation and emotional regulation
Creativity, music and imaginative play
Practical life skills like handwashing and packing away
Problem-solving, spatial awareness and early numeracy concepts
With gentle guidance, toddlers begin to follow daily routines that provide a sense of security while supporting self-help and independence.
Montessori Foundations for Toddlers
Children are introduced to foundational Montessori learning materials that foster:
Concentration and focus
Purposeful movement and coordination
Sensorial exploration and critical thinking
Independence and responsibility for their environment
Our educators respect each child’s individual pace and personality, helping them grow with confidence, joy, and a strong sense of belonging.

Child Care Subsidy (CCS) Explained
The Child Care Subsidy (CCS), provided by Centrelink, is a government initiative aimed at helping eligible families manage the cost of childcare. This subsidy helps make childcare more accessible and affordable by easing the financial burden on families. The amount of assistance a family receives is based on factors such as total household income, the type of childcare service used, and the number of hours required. To qualify, families must meet specific criteria. Payments are made directly to the childcare provider, which lowers the out-of-pocket costs for families.
